Pellizcos de Canela (Cinnamon-Sugar Tortilla Dough Crisps)

Ingredients:

 

1 package flour tortillas
1 cup sugar
¼ cup ground cinnamon
oil, for frying

 

Directions:

 

1. Cut the tortillas into wedges. 

2. In a medium bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside. 

3. In a deep skillet, heat the oil. Fry the tortilla wedges in small batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining tortillas. 

4. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on the fried tortillas and serve.
