Ingredients:

1 sheet of puff pastry
guava paste, cubed
1 egg, beaten
powdered sugar (optional)

Equipment: pastry brush, parchment paper
Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut the dough into 2x2-inch or 3x3-inch squares, and place them on the lined baking sheet. Place a cube of guava paste in the center of each piece of dough. Next, fold the dough over to form a triangle, and seal the edges with your fingers. Brush the dough with beaten egg.

Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven to cool and dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
