The social network that celebrates Latin food

Ingredients:
9 limes, peeled and cut into quarters
3 cups simple syrup
3 cups ice
3 cups club soda
Directions:
1. For the simple syrup: In a saucepan, mix equal parts water and granulated sugar; in this case, 3 cups of water and 3 cups of sugar. Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves. Put aside to cool. Refrigerate.
2. Put the limes into a blender, in batches if necessary. Add the simple syrup and grind together. Add the ice in batches and continue to grind well. Transfer the mix to a large pitcher or punch bowl and add the club soda or sparkling water.
TIP: For a little extra lemon or lime flavor, soak the zest in the juice and then remove. This will give you the added flavor without the texture and bitterness of the peel in the drink.
