10 large jalapenos

1/2 cream cheese, softened at room temperature

1/2 cup shredded jack cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

5 strips bacon, cut in half (10 pieces)

 

Start by cutting the jalapenos in half, lengthwise, with a small spoon scoop out all of the seeds, discard seeds, set jalapenos aside.

Combine the cream cheese, shredded cheese and spices in a bowl, stir well to combine. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. With a small spoon, fill each jalapeno half with cheese mixture, just until filled, do not over fill. Wrap each jalapeno with bacon, transfer to shallow baking sheet. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until bacon is cooked.
