Yields 8 servings

Ingredients:

1 cup granulated sugar

1½ cups evaporated milk

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 cup guava jelly

½ teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

6 eggs

Directions:

1. Using a heavy-bottomed pot, melt the sugar over medium heat until it forms a golden caramel. Pour the caramel into a flan mold, and tilt the mold so that the caramel evenly coats the bottom and sides.

2. Place the remaining ingredients in a blender, and blend until completely smooth. Pour the mixture into the caramel-coated mold. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.

3. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven, in a water bath, for 45 minutes to an hour. Remove from the oven and let cool. Refrigerate, if possible, overnight. Unmold onto a serving dish or platter.
