I am in New Mexico...the platanos come up from Mexico, but hard to find good ones..they are green and then when ripen they are starchy and not so sweet. I am going to make the Platanos Rellenos...I miss them from my grandma and great grandma...I am excited about this cooking website and look forward to getting more recipes.
