- I was born In Brooklyn New York. My parents were born on the isalnd of Puerto Rico. I moved to Hawai'i when I felt a chnage was needed in my life. I have been here since 1994. I became interested in cooking when an opportunity was offered. I am still cooking and wantinfg to learn as much as I can, from your website and others. Where I can I try to obtain information and recipes. I am currently working on a menu of Boricua inspired food.
