My family is part Spanish and part Mexican so I was priviledged to learn how to cook both cultural foods in my Mother's kitchen. I got out of the habit of cooking my cultural foods when I went to work and now that I have an "empty nest" I am anxious to reacquaint myself with my heritage. My husband is Polish so we are also learning to cook the foods that he grew up eating.
