Spice It Up!

Perfumed Rum (Ron Perfumado)

Ingredients:
1 bottle dark rum
5 whole cloves
2 balls allspice
1 or 2 star anise
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cinnamon stick

Add all the spices to the bottle of rum and store in your kitchen for 30 days prior to use.

Note: Perfumed rum can be used instead of Brandy or cognac in a variety of dessert preparations.
