
El jefe margarita with fresh pineapple
Recipe by Chef Jose Garces of Food Network's "Iron Chef"
Serves 4
Ingredients:
6 ounces Don Julio Reposado tequila
3 ounces Combier orange liquor
4 ounces fresh lime juice
3 ounces simple syrup
¾ cup fresh pineapple puree
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher filled with ice.
2. Stir vigorously for 15-20 seconds and serve in chilled margarita
glasses. Salt rim is optional.
3. Garnish with fresh lime wedges.
