Ingredients:
1 onion
1½ lb of ground sirloin
3 tbsp chili powder
½ tsp seasoned salt
½ tsp pepper
1 can tomato soup
1 can diced tomatoes with sweet onions
1 can milder diced tomatoes and green chilies (undrained)
1 can chili beans (undrained)
1 can black beans (drained)
Directions:
1. Remove ends and peel from onion; chop onion coarsely and divide
in half. Preheat large saucepan on medium-high 2-3 minutes. Place
beef, chili powder, seasoned salt, pepper, and one-half of the
onions in pan. Cook 4-5 minutes, stirring to crumble meat, or until
meat is brown and no pink remains.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients, including remaining one-half
onions. Bring to a boil, stirring often.
3. Reduce heat to low; cook 10 more minutes, stirring occasionally,
to blend flavors. Serve.
